Designed specifically for freshman students, this workshop includes the following topics:

Active Reading/Learning Strategies
Notetaking Strategies
Memory Strategies
Why Read a Syllabus?
Talking to Professors
Tools for Goal Setting/Time Management
The workshop will include a presentation by guest speaker, Michelle Priddy, Coordinator of the Midwest Alliance Program, about opportunities
for mentorships and internships for students interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields.
Free Illini merchandise will be available to attendees, courtesy of a donation from the Illini Union Bookstore.
