Event Information

Diversity in Business is an exciting opportunity for sophomores, juniors, and seniors, will take place on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 8:00 AM-6:00 PM in Downtown Chicago. This program will give students who are considering a career in business an opportunity to spend the day visiting two firms and attend workshops and networking events iwth employers who have a particular interest in diversity recruiting. The day will begin with breakfast and an opening presentation, followed by two morning site visits. The group will reconvene for an employer sponsored lunch, and then participate in an afternoon workshop. The day will conclude with a closing reception where students will have the opportunity to network with company representatives as well as each other. Please note that this event is walking intensive, so please wear comfortable shoes.

While this program is not intended to provide students with internships or employment, the Diversity in Business program will offer opportunities to learn more about what a career in financial services, consulting or marketing entails; explore possible career paths and develop potential networks.

Students from ALL academic majors are encouraged to apply. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, please prepare the following materials listed below.

*There is also a request form for disability accommodations, these must be requested 3 weeks before Nov. 13th. Susann has this form also and can email it to you.
