Laureen Summers, from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), will be available to interview registered DRES students for the Entry Point! program on WEDNESDAY, November 11, 2009 in DRES conference room 121 W (note this is a different conference room from last year). Laureen will be visiting to interview students for paid summer internship positions. In the past, major companies such as NASA, IBM, JP Morgan Chase, and Texas Instruments have recruited qualified interns with disabilities.
In order to be considered for the interview, you must meet the following qualifications:
1. Be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student with a disability (*Includes BOTH visible AND non-visible disabilities).
2. Be an Accounting, Biology, Business Administration, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Math major.
3. Have a B average GPA (or higher).
4. Be a U.S. citizen or have a right-to-work permit.
In order to schedule an interview with Ms. Summers, you will need to do the following:
1. Contact Susann Sears at sheft@uiuc.edu to schedule an interview time with Ms. Summers. Interviews will only last about 30 minutes and will be scheduled in 30 min. blocks beginning at 8:00 AM on Oct. 17. Times will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
2. Bring your resume and a copy of your U of I transcript to the interview, this is your responsibility to obtain your transcript prior to your interview time. To request a transcript, please refer to this link: http://www.oar.uiuc.edu/current/transcripts/request.html.
3. DRESS PROFESSIONALLY, treat this interview as you would any formal job interview!

** If you need to update or revise your resume prior to submitting it to Entry Point, these are two resources available to you: 1) The Career Center (715 S.
