Universal Design IconLocations of Alternative Reading Rooms

The following is a list of locations that have alternative reading rooms contatining hardware and/or software meant to improve computer accessibility. These rooms are not meant for general use. They are especially for students with disabilities, and contain a number of adaptive technologies. Click on a particular location to see what is available there, or read through the whole page to see all of the alternative reading rooms on campus. You can also look for a particular technology.

All Windows and Macintosh computers on campus should have the built-in accessibility options installed. If you are working on a machine that does not have these features, please contact us at infotechaccess@server.rehab.uiuc.edu or speak to the lab administrator.
