Equipment Available in Accessible Instructional Computer Labs

The following is a list of technologies meant to improve computer accessibility that are available in instructional computer labs on campus. These labs are open to all students. Select a particular assistive technology to see where it is available, or read through the whole page to see everything that is available in instructional computer labs on campus. You can also view accessibility options by location.

Hardware:

• Computers with added accessibility features

  • Windows

Software:

In addition, all Windows and Macintosh computers on campus should have the built-in accessibility options installed. If you are working on a machine that does not have these features, please contact us at infotechaccess@server.rehab.uiuc.edu or speak to the lab administrator.
