Transferring Messages to a mailbox

Overview

Mailboxes are useful to organize and view messages on a certain topic or from a particular person or group of people. Once you create a mailbox you can move messages into it from the IN box (where your new messages appear). The messages in a mail box can be viewed in their own list just like the new messages in your IN box.

Transferring Messages from the IN mailbox

Four steps:
  1. Highlight the IN box message you want to transfer from the IN box.
  2. Type ALT+R to open the "Transfer" menu.
  3. Type the down arrow key to highlight the name of the new mailbox.
  4. Type ENTER for the transfer to happen.

Transferring Messages back to the IN mailbox

Four steps:
  1. Type ALT+X to open the mailbox menu.
  2. Type the first letter of the mailbox from which you are transferring.
  3. With the down arrow key highlight the message to be transferred.
  4. From the Transfer pull down menu type ENTER to transfer the message back to the IN box.
