Universal Design Symbol Using OMNI 1000 with Shortcut Keys


Adjusting the colors on the screen

You can change the colors used in Omni 1000 for:

  1. the text in the Omni 1000 window.
  2. the window background.
  3. the highlight used to select text.


To change the color of the text in the Omni 1000 window:

  1. Press Alt+T to open the Settings menu
  2. Press D to access the Display submenu
  3. Press the T key to acess the Text Color settings
  4. Use the key mnemonics listed at the bottom of this page to choose a color.


To change the color of the window background:

  1. Press Alt+T to open the Settings menu
  2. Press D to access the Display submen
  3. Press B to access the Background Color settings
  4. Use the key mnemonics listed at the bottom of this page to choose a color.


To change the color of the highlight used to select text:

  1. Press Alt+T to open the Settings menu
  2. Press D to access the Display submenu
  3. Press the H key to acess the Highlight Color settings
  4. Use the key mnemonics listed at the bottom of this page to choose a color.


Key mnemonics for display colors:

Press these keys to specify colors for text, background, or highlight:

  1. K for Black
  2. N for Navy Blue
  3. E for Green
  4. T for Turquoise
  5. C for Brick Red
  6. U for Purple
  7. O for Olive Green
  8. G for Gray
  9. D for Dark Gray
  10. B for Blue
  11. L for Lima Green
  12. A for Aqua
  13. R for Red
  14. M for Magenta
  15. Y for Yellow
  16. W for White
