Using OMNI 1000 with Shortcut Keys

Two ways to start Omni 1000

With a shortcut key:

If there is an icon for Omni 1000 on your desktop, you have a shortcut to use when opening Omni 1000. To use that shortcut requires one step:

1. Type Control+Alt+1 to start Omni 1000. A new window will appear, into which you can type a new document or open an existing file.

Without a shortcut key:

If there is no Omni 1000 icon on your desktop, there are four steps to follow to open Omni 1000:

1. Press Ctrl+Esc to open the Start menu; the Start menu will appear.
2. Type P for Programs; the Programs menu will appear to the right of the Start menu.
3. Press the Up or Down Arrows until Omni 1000 is highlighted.
4. Press Enter; Omni 1000 will be opened.
