Using OMNI 3000 with Shortcut Keys
What to do if the text is too small or too big
To change text size using the View menu:
Press Alt+V to open the View menu. Then select one of the
following means of changing the text size:
- To use the Fit To option, press F for Fit To. Then select the
desired option:
- Press W or F5 for Text Width: makes the
width of the text on a document page equal to the width of the page, without
borders or margins
- Press H or F6 for Text Height: makes the height of
the text on a document page equal to the height of the window, without borders
or margins
- Press d for Width: makes the width of the document page equal to
the width of the window
- Press g for Height: makes the height of the document page equal
to the height of the window
- Press p for Page: makes the entire document page fit in the
window
- To use the Zoom menu, press Z to select Zoom, then select the
desired option:
- Select In 10% to zoom in on document details
- To zoom in farther, repeat the above step as often as
necessary.
- Select Out 10% to zoom back out
- To zoom out farther, repeat the above step as often as
necessary.
- Select To 100% to zoom to the document's actual size
- Select Full Screen to fill the window
To change type size using the Zoom window:
You can also use the Zoom window (on the bar just above the document screen)
to do one of the following, without having to use a pull-down menu:
- Click on the large red Up or Down arrowhead at the left of the Zoom window.
- Each click will change the size of the document by 10%; repeat
until the size is acceptable.
- Click on the Down arrowhead at the right of the window for a drop-down menu
that will allow you to select a desired size from 50%-500%.
- Click on the size you want to highlight and select it; Omni
3000 will jump to that size.
