Five steps to move a block of text within a presentation

  1. Use the arrow keys to position the cursor to the first letter of the first word of the block of text you want to copy.
  2. Press CONTROL+SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW until the desired block of text is highlighted. To select a paragraph, press CONTROL+SHIFT+DOWN ARROW or CONTROL+SHIFT+UP ARROW. To deselect text, press ESC and hit an arrow key.
  3. Press CONTROL+X to cut the text. The text will be removed from its current position.
  4. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the new desired position within the presentation.
  5. Press CONTROL+V to paste the text.

Four steps to move an object or textbox within a presentation

  1. Press ESCAPE+TAB to select a textbox or object you want to move.
  2. Press CONTROL+X to cut the text. The text will be removed from its current position.
  3. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the new location within the presentation.
  4. Press CONTROL+V to paste the box in the new location.
