Universal Design Symbol PowerPoint '97: Shortcut Key commands for a Slide Show in Full Screen Mode


You can use the following shortcuts while running your slide show in full-screen mode.
Tip: You can press F1 during a slide show to see a list of controls.

Advancing to a previous slide or the next slide

To advance to the next slide press N or the SPACEBAR.

To return to the previous slide press P or BACKSPACE.

To go to a specific slide number press the number of the slide and then press ENTER.

To go to the next hidden slide press H.

To use the mouse-click to advance to the next slide while rehearsing press M.

To return to the first slide press both mouse buttons for 2 seconds.

Starting or Stopping a slide show

To display a black screen or to return to the slide show from a black screen press B.

To display a white screen or return to the slide show from a white screen press W.

To stop or restart an automatic slide show press S.

To end a slide show press ESC.

Changing the on-screen Mouse Pointer

To change the on-screen mouse pointer to a pen press CTRL+P.

To change the on-screen mouse pen to a pointer press CTRL+A.

To hide the pointer and button temporarily CTRL+H.

To hide the mouse pointer and button press CTRL+L.

Setting Timers

To set new timings while rehearsing press T.

To use the original timings while rehearsing press O.

Displaying on-screen annotations and the shortcut menu

To display the shortcut menu press SHIFT+F10 or right-click.

To erase on-screen annotations press E.
