PowerPoint '97: Using Toolbars with Shortcut Keys

• Activating toolbars

Activating toolbars

To make the menu bar active press F10.

To select the next toolbar press CTRL+TAB.

Selecting buttons or menus on the active toolbar

To select the previous toolbar pressCTRL+SHIFT+TAB.

To select the next button or menu on the active toolbar press TAB.

To select the previous button or menu on the active toolbar press SHIFT+TAB.

To perform the action assigned to the selected button press ENTER.

Selecting a drop-down list or menu option

To select an option in a drop-down list box or in a drop-down menu on a button use the arrow keys to move through the options, then press ENTER to select an option.
