Universal Design Symbol PowerPoint '97: Summary of Selecting text using Shortcut Keys


Press CTRL+SHIFT+left arrow to select to the beginning of a word or CTRL+SHIFT+right arrow to select to the end.

Press SHIFT+HOME to select to the beginning of a line or SHIFT+END to select to the end.

To select to the beginning or end of a paragraph press CTRL plus the up or down arrow key.

To select a specific object press ESC+TAB until the object you want is selected. Make sure the object you want to select is surrounded (highlighted) by small dots.

To select all objects in a slide (while in slide view) press CTRL+A.

To select all slides (while in slide sorter view) press CTRL+A.

To select all text (while in outline view) press CTRL+A.
