Universal Design Symbol Changing the Letter Case using Shortcut Keys



Four steps to change the letter case

  1. Select the text that will have the change of letter case.
  2. Press SHIFT+F3.
  3. Word 7.0 can change the case to all lowercase letters, standard sentence form, or all capital letters. Continue to press the SHIFT+F3 until you reach your desired change of letter case.
  4. When you have reached your change of letter case, press the left or right cursor key to deselect the text in order to continue typing.

Four steps to format all letters to capital

  1. Select the text that will have the change of letter case.
  2. Press CTRL+SHIFT+A.
  3. Press the left or right cursor key to deselect the text in order to continue typing.
  4. To remove the capital font, press CTRL+SHIFT+A.

Four steps to format all letters as small capital

  1. Select the text that will have small capitals.
  2. Press CTRL+SHIFT+K.
  3. Press the left or right cursor key to deselect the text in order to continue typing.
  4. To remove the small capital font, press CTRL+SHIFT+K.
