Summary of Netscape Navigator 4.0 shortcut keys
Going to a new location
- To open a new location press CTRL+O, enter the web address, and
press ENTER.
- To stop downloading the current page press ESC.
- To reload the current page press CTRL+R.
Changing what you see on the screeen
- To scroll toward the beginning of a document press the up arrow.
- To scroll toward the end of a document press the down arrow.
- To scroll one screen up press PAGE UP.
- To scroll one screen down press PAGE DOWN.
- To move the page down to the next hyperlink press TAB.
- To move the page up to the previous hyperlink press SHIFT+TAB.
- There is no way to move between frames with shortcut keys.
Moving between pages
- To go to the previous page press ALT+left arrow.
- To go to the next page press ALT+right arrow.
Using Bookmarks
- To bookmark the current page press CTRL+D.
- To retrieve a bookmarked page press ALT+C+B. Use the up and down
arrow keys to highlight the desired page. Press ENTER and you will
go to the highlighted page.
Increasing and Decrease font sizes
- To increase the font size press CTRL+].
- To decrease the font size press CTRL+[.
Printing a document
- Press CTRL+P to open the Print dialog box. Then press
ENTER to print the page with the default settings.
