UNIX Pine: Starting Pine

Two ways to start Pine

1. Starting Pine from the Main Menu when you log into your student account
2. Starting Pine from the UNIX prompt when logged into your student account

One step to start Pine from the Main Menu

• When you log into your student account a menu of options appears.

1. Press E for electronic mail and Pine will be started

One step to start Pine from the UNIX prompt

1. Type "pine" and press enter and Pine will start:

           ux4> pine
