How to use the Windows 95 Help System

1. From the desktop screen display press and hold the Control key while pressing ESCape.
2. From the pop-up Start menu highlight "Help" by pressing the "h" key.

Searching the Index by Typing

1. Once "h" has been pressed than appears the Help Topics: Windows Help dialog box.
2. In the top section (1) of the Index Tab page is a blinking typing cursor.  With this cursor you can "Type the first few letters of the word you're looking for".
3. As you type, the text within the bottom section (2) automatically moves towards the top.
4. When finished typing press Enter.

1. Press ALT+c than the Down arrow key or space bar to highlight the first item of text.
2. Line by line movement of the highlight is controlled by the Up or Down arrow keys.
3. Pressing PgUp or PgDn moves the highlight Up or Down 17 lines.
4. Press Enter to read the information associated with the highlighted item within Windows Help.

1. Press "t" to return from Windows Help to the Help Topics Index.

1. Press the ESCape key to Make Windows Help disappear.
