Summary of Deleting text To delete a character that is located on the left of the cursor press BACKSPACE.
To delete a character that is located on the right of the cursor press DELETE.
To delete the rest of the page press CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE.
To delete the rest of the line press CTRL+DELETE.
To delete the rest of the word press CTRL+BACKSPACE.
To undo the deleting action press CTRL+Z.
