Using ZoomText 5.2 with shortcut keys

Turning ZoomText 5.2 on and off

ZoomText 5.2 can be turned on or off at any time without exiting the program in which you are working. When ZoomText is turned off, the screen returns to its normal (unmagnified) state.

To turn ZoomText off, do one of the following:

1. Press ALT+DELETE.
2. In the ZoomText toolbar, press the right or left arrow key to highlight the Zoom icon and press ENTER.

Magnification is turned off, and the zoom window is hidden.

To turn ZoomText on, do one of the following:

1. Press ALT+INSERT.
2. In the ZoomText toolbar, press the right or left arrow key to highlight the Zoom icon and press ENTER.
3. If ZoomText is minimized, click on the ZoomText program icon at the bottom of the screen. Then use either of the two methods above to turn magnification on.

Magnification is turned on and the zoom window is displayed.

Three steps to take if the ZoomText 5.2 window is hidden by other open windows:

1. Press ALT+TAB. A small window will open. It displays icons for the programs which are open on the desktop.
2. Continue to press TAB while holding down ALT until the icon for ZoomText is highlighted (outlined with a square made up of solid lines).
3. Release all keys to select ZoomText and bring its window to the top.
