| The deadline for Google’s undergraduate Building Opportunities for Leadership & Development (BOLD) Diversity Internship Program for Summer 2009 that includes disability as one of many components of their diversity focus is rapidly approaching, and we want to ensure that you have the opportunity to apply. BOLD undergraduate opportunities: Online Sales & Operations (OSO) - Google’s Advertising Sales and Service roles find relevant solutions that meet our clients’ changing needs. We identify their business challenges, collaboratively shape solutions that drive their strategic initiatives and keep them informed in the ways that Google products can enhance their online and/or offline presence. Finance - Google’s Finance and Analytics roles provide analytical perspectives on important strategic decisions by designing and managing the forecasts, analyses and key performance indicators that support the company’s initiatives. New Business Development - Can you think strategically and globally to help define initiatives that contribute to our company’s vision and potential? Google’s New Business Development group leads company-wide strategic and operational initiatives critical to the ongoing growth of the company. Google’s New Business Development group works to identify and build the partnerships that drive business through new channels. People Operations - Do you have the ability to inspire, compel and empower others? Google’s People Operations roles are focused on redefining human resources and preserving Google’s uncommon culture in the way we attract, hire, develop and reward talented people. North American Sales Organization (NASO) - Google’s Advertising Sales and Service roles find relevant solutions that meet our clients’ changing needs. We identify their business challenges, collaboratively shape solutions that drive their strategic initiatives and keep them informed in the ways that Google products can enhance their online and/or offline presence Policy & Government Affairs - Google’s Policy team works to advance public policy positions and related activities reflecting the goals and values of the company. Key issues handled by this team include those relating to privacy, content regulation, freedom of speech, advertising, intellectual property, and general technology. Enterprise Sales - The Google Enterprise team brings Google technology to the corporate marketplace. The team works with product managers and engineers to build key business applications and improve a product’s vision, and provides comprehensive and responsive assistance to Google’s enterprise customers worldwide. Marketing - The Marketing team applies the same level of creative originality to Google’s marketing activity that the company has applied to online search and advertising. We support Google’s growth and revenue generating efforts through effective and results-focused marketing campaigns for both business and consumer products. Positions are located in six different cities across the U.S. · The position: A 10-12 week paid summer internship with a business unit. · Exposure: A unique glimpse into a business career at a technology company. · Professional development: Attend weekly Google business case study workshops, tech talks and skill-building seminars. · Fun: Social activities, community building and networking.
