Asian American Cultural Center Evening Monitor Position |

| The Asian American Cultural Center is currently searching for an Evening Monitor. Primary Responsibilities + Monitor building during evening hours through closing + Perform receptionist duties such as answering phones, monitoring use of facility by students, reporting building problems, photocopying etc. + Assist with weekly building operations and other duties as assigned + Be available to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings 4:45 -9:00pm + Start August 25, 2009 through May 13, 2010 Qualifications + Student must be Federal Work Study eligible + Undergraduate, Graduate and Professional Students at UIUC + Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity issues and interest in Asian American cultures + Must be courteous, responsible, self-motivated, dependable and outgoing. + Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and independently with a high degree of initiative. + Adhere to all University and Asian American Cultural Center procedures and policies.
