Transportation - Campus Route Information
***All Rides must be scheduled through the DRES Transportation office.
DRES Transportation Routes
Beckwith Hall and other Residence Halls
Pickups are on the half-hour of every hour beginning at 7:30 am (8:30 am, 9:30 am and run until 3:30 pm), Monday through Friday, for classes and university activities.
Quad Routes
Pick-ups are on the hour every hour beginning at 9:00 am (10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 etc., until 5:00 pm), Monday through Friday. DRES Transportation operates an east campus route on Wright Street and a west campus route on Mathews Avenue to pick up students for classes and other campus activities. These buses will go to Beckwith, the Residence Halls and the Rehabilitation Center as needed. However, students going to classes will receive first priority.
DRES Bus waiting times
Some classes begin and/or end on the half-hour. Students enrolled in these classes may arrive early for class or have to wait 20-30 minutes for bus pickup. Students are encouraged to arrange their class schedules, if possible, so that adequate travel time is allowed between classes
DRES Transportation Scheduling and Call-in Services
Day rides
Students living in campus housing, other than Beckwith Hall should make arrangements for pickups by calling the transportation office at 333-4616. Pick-ups and drop-offs are on the hour and the half-hour only.
Night rides
DRES Transportation has a disability transportation specialist on duty for night classes and evening activities during the week. Pick-ups and drop-offs are on the hour and the half-hour only. The last scheduled pick-up will be at 9:30pm, Monday through Friday. Students must schedule these rides in advance by calling the DRES transportation office at 333-4616 before 3:00 pm on the day you will be scheduling the ride.
Weekend rides
Weekend transportation is available for classes, and university sponsored activities. Students requesting weekend rides to concerts, sporting events, etc. must call our office by 3:00 pm the Wednesday before the weekend event. Students will need to provide DRES transportation with the number of riders anticipated for the event.
Off-campus rides
Some classes require the need for off-campus transportation. Students should call the transportation office at 333-4616 well in advance in order to best meet the off-campus needs. Please note that DRES Transportation will not provide rides for non-university related purposes (examples include shopping trips for food, liquor or personal errands, restaurants, movies, etc.)
